Dr. John Clark, M.D. Pediatrician, owner PRIMARY LOCATION
Dr. Clark was born in Jena, Louisiana. He is married to Margaret Clark and they have two sons, Jared and Andrew. Dr. Clark is a graduate of Jena High School and graduated from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana in 1989. He completed his internship and residency at LSU Medical Center in Shreveport, Louisiana where he was Pediatric Chief Resident from 1994-1996. Dr. Clark was Board Certified in Pediatrics in 1996. He moved to Alexandria to begin practicing pediatrics that same year. He loves to hunt, fish and spend time with his family. Dr. Clark is affiliated with both Rapides Regional Medical Center & Christus St. Frances Cabrini Hospital. He serves as the chairman of the Pediatric Department at Cabrini hospital and is the president of the Cenla Pediatric Society. Special interests include childhood asthma, attention deficit disorder and minor office procedures.

Dr. Zulma Laracuente, M.D. PRIMARY LOCATION
Dr. Laracuente was born in Salamanca, Spain. She is married to Dr. Roberto Garcia, M.D. They have twin girls, Sofia and Andrea. She spent her childhood in Puerto Rico and obtained her undergraduate degree from The University of Puerto Rico. She graduated form Ponce School of Medicine in Puerto Rico and followed with her residency in Tampa, Florida. Dr. Laracuente speaks fluent Spanish. She was in private practice for 4 years before moving to Alexandria in July of 2006. She looks forward to spending time with her husband and family. Dr. Laracuente is affiliated with both Rapides Regional Medical Center & Christus St. Frances Cabrini Hospital.

Dr. Ann Bubenzer, M.D. PRIMARY LOCATION
Dr. Bubenzer was born in New Orleans, Louisiana. She is married to Fletcher Bubenzer. They have two children, Kimberly Rose and Charles. She is a graduate of Pineville High School and Louisiana State University at Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Dr. Bubenzer attended LSU Medical School in New Orleans, Louisiana. She completed her residency at Arkansas Children's Hospital in Little Rock, Arkansas. She was Board Certified in Pediatrics in 2004 and has been practicing in Alexandria since September of 2004. Dr. Bubenzer is affiliated with both Rapides Regional Medical Center & Christus St. Frances Cabrini Hospital.

Dr. Robert C. Culpepper, M.D. JACKSON STREET LOCATION
Dr. Culpepper was born in Alexandria, Louisiana. He is a graduate of Bolton High School and Louisiana College of Pineville, La. He received his medical degree from Tulane University Medical School of New Orleans, La. He completed his internship at New Orleans Charity Hospital of New Orleans, his General Practice Residency at Huey P. Long Hospital of Pineville, and his Pediatric Residency at LeBonheur Children's Hospital & John Gaston Hospital of Memphis, Tn. He is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, Louisiana State Medical Society and Rapides Parish Medical Society. He is a Staff Member of Rapides General Hospital and St. Frances Cabrini Hospital and Visiting Staff of Huey P. Long Hospital. |

Heather Rachal, APRN, CPNP PRIMARY LOCATION
Heather is a Nurse Practitioner here at Premier Pediatrics. She was born in Alexandria, La and Graduated from Alexandria Senior High in 1992. She Received her Bachelor's degree in Nursing from the University of Louisiana in Monroe in 1998. She practiced as a pediatric nurse at Rapides Women's and Children's Hospital for 9 years and received her Master's degree in nursing with a concentration in Primary Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner from Northwestern State University in 2007. She enjoys spending time with her husband, Ricky, and her three children, Megan, Ethan and Adam. She also loves scrapbooking and gardening.

Erin Duplechien, APRN, FNP JACKSON STREET LOCATION
Erin is a Nurse Practitioner at the new Jackson Street location as well as our primary location occasionally. She is a mother to Olivia and Michael. Erin is certified by American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. In May of 2008, she graduated from Northwestern State University with a Masters of Science in Nursing. |

Shawn loves being a pediatric nurse. (However, if she had to choose another profession, it would be veterinary medicine.) Over the past 12 years here, she has enjoyed watching our patients grow and thrive. She looks forward to many years to come!

Ashley is an LPN. She graduated high school in 2003 from Tioga High School. In December of 2008, she graduated nursing school at Louisiana Technical College, Alexandria Campus. Ashley is engaged to Cody Langley and has a son named Christopher. There raise miniature dachshund puppies in their spare time.

Sara is from San Antonio, Tx. She enjoys meeting new people, trying new things and being surrounded by friends and family. She is a proud mother of three beautiful children. Gabriel is serving our country in the United States Navy. Breaunna attends Grace Christian School and Summer attends Alexandria Country Day. She loves the Pediatric area of nursing because it allows her to "act like a child". She thinks there is always something new to learn from the kids - kids say the darndest things!

They have 5 children: Erika, who lives in Pine Prairie and is mom to granddaughter Cloe and grandson Hunter, Todd, who lives in Pineville and is dad to grandson Kaiden, Kelly, who lives in Lake Charles and attends McNeese University, Nikee, who lives in Oakdale, attends LSU-E and is mom to grandson Braelynn and Bryan who lives in Pine Prairie and plays football at PPHS. Tina enjoys cooking, reading, camping, working in her yard and shopping.
